A Collaboration with Studio Madeline
Get a taste of the Mediterranean at your own table with our newest collection, created in collaboration with Studio Madeline, aka Madeline Jovicic, one of our favourite Sydney-based artists. We sat down with her prior to the launch to ask a few questions!
How did you come to start doing what you do now?
I started painting a couple of years ago to help express myself creatively and also physically, using the practice of painting as a healing and meditative process. I always knew I wanted to pursue a creative career as it brings me so much joy.
What are you most excited to eat off your plates?
Oysters, cacio e pepe, barbecued snapper with seasonal greens, the list is truly endless.
What is inspiring you at the moment / artists that you are loving?
I am constantly inspired by nostalgia, new colour combinations and manifestations of happy places. I’m really loving Matisse at the moment after seeing the his retrospective at the Art Gallery of NSW earlier this year.
What holiday destination are you dreaming about?
Puglia, Sicily and Paros. Making this dream a reality later this year!
